“In July 2022, my cardiologist informed me that if I didn't change my lifestyle I would need to start several different prescription medicines. I was 254 pounds. 5 months later, she was blown away by my 65-pound weight loss in 30 weeks. "This program shattered all my excuses for my weight problems:
1. My family has weight and food addiction issues. It’s genetic, and I just need to accept it. Nope.
2. I lost weight quickly in the past with various fasting or low calorie liquids … and gained it all back. That’s how they all work. Nope.
3. I’m too old and it’s too late - my metabolism is shot. Nope.
4. This was my #1 goal for many many years, but nothing works. Nope.
5. I joined many in-person weight programs. I was able to hide in the back or was told it’s fine you don’t lose because you’re trying. Nope.
6. I can continue drinking wine and still lose this weight. Nope
7. My health has deteriorated, and I don’t have the energy to try anymore. Nope.
8. I’m waiting for that one magic pill or gummy. Nope.
Even if you feel jaded about weight loss programs, do it one more time! What I searched for was a program where I couldn’t hide, that had a lot of structure and accountability, and where I could witness people just like me break all these myths. It works, is very affordable, and there is a plan to maintain the weight loss after you succeed. The zoom meetings weekly make it virtually impossible to “hide in the back”.
Rick and Bill have done this work for many years and care deeply about each person and their struggles. They hold us accountable and acknowledge the work each person is doing.
